October 13, 2010 - Chilean miners amazing rescue.

33 miners in Chile were trapped for over two months in a safe room in a collapsed mine. It's been a story that was going on for months about how they were doing, how engineers would get them out, etc. Starting yesterday evening, the work paid off and the rescuers were finally able to begin bringing the miners up to the surface one by one and cnn had a live feed of the entire rescue from the rescue of the first all the way to the last. It was really emotional to watch. I watched it at work. This is when the 20th miner came up out of the ground. I have chills still looking at this. It was amazing and it was really really great to have a disastrous story end like this with so much celebration and happiness.
