U.S. Navy SEALS conducted a special operation and killed Osama bin Laden at his fancy house in Pakistan. For a man who was described by an ambassador to the US as someone who couldn't 'lead eight ducks across a street', the dude managed to get quite a following with his diabolical mindset. The internet exploded last night with the news coming from the White House, but one of the coolest coincidences of this entire thing was that there happened to be a baseball game between Philadelphia and NY at the time and as the news spread through the stadium, the fans began chanting "U.S.A! U.S.A!". Since three of the four planes that were hijacked on 9/11 affected NYC and an area near Philly, it was kind of extra touching for the fans to get to share the news together while watching America's game. Impromptu celebrations took place all over the country last night and it's safe to say that, while the national security concerns are higher than ever, the happiness factor of Americans has skyrocketed with this news. Excellent job, Mr. President and the AMAZING Navy SEALS!
